070 SS III Mid Ride Level III Retention - Basket Black Size 09Manufacture ID: 070-09-181The 070 SS III is one of two models classified as a Level II Retention Holster. It's mid-ridebelt position and slightly forward grip can't allow for a comfortable carry and a quick easy draw. It has a top thumb break and middle finger release tab. The patented molded ejection port detent only allows for a rearward weapon release. The SS III'sside strap and snap are designed as decoys and do not operate. When the gun is properly drawn all of these retention features work together to achieve a smooth release in a natural motion. With this rigid Posi-Loc Belt Loop anchors the holster andstabilizes it to the duty belt with hardened aerospace fasteners. The holster and belt becomes one unit keeping the 070 firmly in place as the weapon is drawn. The SS III features a wrap around construction of thermal-molded Safari-Laminate materials.The weapon wills still fits snugly after rigorous daily use.
